Triumphant Return?

So! I signed up for a deviantART account nearly three years ago. At that point, I wasn't really drawing any more. For this reason, I'd put off getting an account even though many of my friends were on deviantART. I wanted to comment on their deviations but didn't want to comment anonymously. That was one of the reasons I did get an account. Another is the fact that apparently writing can be submitted, although it seems to me like it gets less attention.

Anyway.

After putting up one chapter of my Nanowrimo novel in 2004, I dropped off the face of deviantART. I've been browsing lately, though, so I decided to start actually -using- this DA account. I've doodled a little in the past several years but what I've -really- been doing is ceramic art. I want to put up pictures of my pieces, but I take shots of them from several angles and don't want to spam my gallery all at once with dozens of pictures. Rather, I think I'll upload a few at a time over the next week or two.

So! I have returned triumphantly and will try to be more pro-active about commenting. We'll see how that goes. ^^

  • Wallpaper of choice: I'm actually using a default wallpaper on my laptop. ^^;; Maybe I'll get a nice one someti
  • Skin of choice: I don't think I use a skin these days, either.
  • Favourite game: Oh, gods, like I know. I have a PS2 but I mostly play GBA/DS games... ^^;;
  • Favourite gaming platform: Fav is probably the PS2, but I play my DS much more. I'm not a total gamer geek.
  • Favourite cartoon character: ...Are you serious? ANIME, my pretties. Not cartoons.
  • Personal Quote: ...I think I'll get back on that one. Honest....
  • Tools of the Trade: What? For writing... Or for drawing? *avoidant again* Computer, or with my own two hands?

Hey, you're a good writer. I like your style, and you don't have any of those annoying... grammatical problems... :: shudders :: that other people have. Or maybe I'm just a grammar Nazi. Whatever it is, you're hot.

[And I mean that figuratively, not literally.]
[Although calling someone hot is applying a figurative term to physical attributes... but I think you know what I mean here. You're good.]

o.o;; I feel so very welcomed. Wow. I think the warm-and-fuzzy-ness is suffocating me. *coughs* Anywho, just a *tad* bit chagrined, because so many of my friends use deviantart, but I never bothered to get an account. Partially due to, y'know, general lack of internet, and partially due to... Well... Lack of self-confidence? Still, there's room for those who write AND those who draw, and I tend to dabble in both. ^.^

So, short version: thanks? ^.^;
